ELLA HUESTIS
driven, passionate, creative

About Me
Hi there! My name is Ella Huestis (they/she) and I'm a multi-hyphenate and proudly queer Musical Theatre Artist. Here's a little more about me:
I was born into a family of musicians and have been singing, dancing, and playing dress-up for as long as I can remember. At age 9, my dad enrolled me in a theatre camp putting on a 20-minute performance of Newsies in the basement of The Dallas Historical Society and I fell head over heels in love. This love led me to Elon University where I graduated Summa Cum Laude with my BFA in Music Theatre in May of 2025 (Roll Phoenix!).
I am a steadfast believer in the power art has in creating community, inspiring change, and making sense of the human experience. My love for queer art, new work, and collaborative creation has flourished during my time at the Theatre Academy of London and Elon Music Theatre and it draws me to spaces with creativity, kindness, and community at the center. I love theatre in all forms - the fringe and the mainstream - and I am eager to create in any facet.
Outside of my artistic endeavors, you can find me rewatching Cars, humming along to some big-band jazz, crocheting, or continuing my search for the best iced lavender latte ever (I'll let you know when I find it).
Thank you for taking a peek at my website, I can't wait to connect with you!
